Yes, I did that during the install and after I created the list.
check_perms found no problems with any of the changes I've made.
Which means that either the choices I made are o.k. or the script 
doesn't check those files.

The changes don't seem to work consistently though.
On one attempt, I'll be able to access all the web based admin pages 
with no problems.
The next time I'll get "403 Forbidden". It is weird , because if I start 
at http://URL/mailman/admin
It seems to work If I go sequentially down the list, but If I skip from 
"General Options" to say
"go to general list information page", I get the "403 Forbidden".

I'm not sure if this is a problem with the installation or what. I 
followed the "INSTALL" doc to the
letter. The only difference being that I have to use %sudo make install.

Is "config.db the main configuration file for the list? If so, are there 
other files I should be concerned with that apply to configuration of a 
list? I would almost prefer to edit actual files
than deal with this web configuration business.
