[Mailman-Users] passwd not echoed in newlist (getpass)

HI People,

    Who could help me?  I've tryed to run newlist , but the password has

never been non-echoed.
    What could be ?

apolo# ./newlist
Enter the name of the list: asdf
Enter the email of the person running the list: asdf at adf
Warning: Problem with getpass. Passwords may be echoed.
