[Mailman-Users] mysql and mailman

Is there anyway to tie in the userlist for a mailing list with mysql?
I need to keep track contact information, along with the email
address/name.

when a user deletes themself from a list, I need to also delete them
from the database.
I'm sure this issue has been dicussed before, so If someone would point
me in the right direction, I'm sure I can figure it out.
