I recently had to rebuild a mailing list from scratch when I neglected to
resize some virtual storage prior to trying to import 6 year's worth of
old archives. I was able to salvage a little under 90% of the existing
subscriptions and the archives are still there although I'm going to have
to use arch to reindex them.

Before I try anything like this again, I need to know which files in which
directories I must back up in order to make a complete recovery should
trouble arise. My server is colocated and I'm not paying for full backup
services, so I need to be selective about this.
