Yes, SourceForge has a feature request tracker, which is the best place
to register such suggestions.  All email has a non-zero chance of
getting buried, so it's fine to post to this list, but I probably won't
see it unless it's in a tracker.  (I'm on a mini-vacation and doing some
offline mailbox gardening today :).
