[Mailman-Users] (mm2.1.1) ValueError: unsupported format character '[' (0x5b) at index 1133

Hi!

I installed the Debian package of mailman 2.1.1 on Debian Woody.  When I
run mailmanctl, I get this error:

I did not change anything at the templates.  So the error seems to be
present in 2.1.1 - or at least in the Debian package.

DEFAULT_SERVER_LANGAUGE is unset - ie. it's en, since that's set in
Defaults.py.

Where do I have to look?

Oh, I just noticed - when I set LC_ALL=C LANG=C before calling
mailmanctl, everything works.  Normally, my locale is set to de_DE at euro.
