Close. :)

There are a few C wrappers in Mailman for security and these need to
be compiled, and of course the Python source code should be byte
compiled.

But the truth is that this is no different from the source tarballs I
distribute.  It's the RPMs (or other package distros) which I don't
build which would give you the stuff pre-compiled.
