Mailman is open-source software, everything is editable. ;-)

The grep command is your friend.  The text you seek is in:

    ~mailman/Mailman/Handlers/MimeDel.py

If you use languages other than English, you'll also want to edit the
translation files in ~mailman/messages/<LANG>/LC_MESSAGES/mailman.po
