[Mailman-Users] install problem

i just installed mailman 2.1.1 on debian manually because i need things 
in different directories, and because debina only is at 2.0.11.
my mailer is the current version of postfix from the debian distribution.
postfix works.

the strage thins is that
setgid_group=postdrop
on main.cf of postfix, but
--with-mail-gid=postdrop does not work.
i had to do
--with-mail-gid=nogroup
(i was told so by a mail with an error message).

mailman has additional problems.

i set up a test list,
and mail to the list gets stuck in
mailman/qfiles/in

it does not get sent from there.

any ideas what might be the reason?
which aspect of the configuration do i have to change?

any hints how i might be up and running soon?
