Your permissions on /usr/local/mailman/data/aliases* are wrong.

BTW, Barry (or any other MM hackers), check_perms doesn't give a warning if
data/aliases.db isn't group writable.  If it's not, list creation via the
web produces the error above.  List creation via bin/newlist still works,
however.  It might save some folks some frustration if check_perms caught
this and fixed it.
