[Mailman-Users] what's wrong with my list?

I am having a lot of problems in setting up mailman on a OSX 10.3 
server. It does not start. I work from the configuration panel in the 
server admin app.
Postfix and IMAP/POP are working fine. On Mailman, whenever I try to add 
a list with its administrator, this is deleted from the config panel and 
it seems that mailman can not start. I am quite new to Mac. Any suggestion?
