Thank you both for the explanation. What made me ask this is that when I
first subscribed to the list in February I checked the headers of the list
and used the VERPed address for white-listing it. I didn't recognize any
exceptions. Then I was removed from the list in March (like some others
here as well, seems it went back to backup from November) and had to
resubscribe when a message I sent to the list bounced. Since then I
noticed that many messages were not going thru as white-listed (but
scanned and found to be ham), because many were not using the VERPed
address. So I suppose there was a change in that bounce detection policy
from "always" to "some"?
