[Mailman-Users] problem still exists w/2.3.4 Python...

Here is the latest story in my saga.

I'm running Mailman 2.1.5 with Python 2.3.4

If I create a list and make a user moderated they can't post to the list.
the logs/errors file fills up with a bunch of lines, but this is at the bottom:

File "/usr/local/mailman/Mailman/ListAdmin.py", line 113, in __nextid
    while True:
NameError: global name 'True' is not defined

This problem seems to be documented in this closed bug:

I just upgraded to Python 2.3.4 and this problem still exists. If the
user trying to post to the list is moderated their submission is shunted.

Does anyone know what this might be? Defining True = 1 at the top of
ListAdmin.py didn't help. (MM 2.1.5)
