	Sorry, what is SANE?  To me, that's the Systems And Network 
Engineering conference co-sponsored by USENIX and the Dutch Unix 
Users Group (NLUUG) that is being held this year in Delft, in the 
Netherlands -- that's a small country over in Europe, north of 
Belgium and west of Germany.

	And what distribution are you using?  Linux by itself is just the 
kernel (core OS), and there are over a hundred well known 
distributions on top of this kernel.  There is SuSE, Slackware, 
Debian (with many variations of Debian), RedHat, and many, many 
others.

	If you can provide us more information about the systems you're 
using and the questions you're asking, we'll be more likely to either 
be able to help or at least point you at a place where you're more
