Well, you haven't told us what OS you're running, or what version of 
Mailman, or who provided that.  This can be a big factor, see FAQs 
1.21, 6.11, and 6.15.

In this case, you should first look at your logs, to see if they have 
any useful information.  Then you should consult FAQs 3.14, 1.22, 
1.23, and 1.18.
