Well, that particular type of spam seems to have abruptly disappeared 
for now (I try the filters on one list until I see that they work, and 
then add them to the other lists). So I guess I will wait to see if this 
is just a lull and it starts up again.

I don't have direct access to the logs; I just have access via the web 
interface. Hmm... I would think that would be helpful to have web access 
to. If that style of spam starts up again (I imagine it will) then I'll 
see if the sys admin can take a look at the logs.
