No. I meant exactly what I wrote.

manual at <http://www.list.org/mailman-install/node9.html> for further
information.
If you don't have a 'list' group, how come it is the group of
/var/lib/mailman, /var/lib/mailman/archives and
/var/lib/mailman/archives/public?
If you don't have a 'www-data' user, then that should be whatever the
user is that your web server runs Mailman's CGIs as.
