The 'import' script was never written. AFAIK, you have to write your own.

This is already done in Mailman 3. There are no plans to do this in
Mailman 2.1.

Or to diagnose the issue with the existing list and fix it. If you want
to do that, tell us more specifically what the issue is. I.e. what text
is duplicated, does it affect both plain format and MIME format digests
or only one type, and anything else you think is relevant.
