Queued where? in the MTA ?

If so, it's not Mailman.

gmail.com is not an MX for gmail.com

$ dig +short mx gmail.com
10 alt1.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com.
5 gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com.
40 alt4.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com.
20 alt2.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com.
30 alt3.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com.

MXs should be tried in priority order (lowest # is highest priority).

$ telnet gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com 25
Trying 74.125.193.26...
Connected to gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 mx.google.com ESMTP n2si16658369iga.47 - gsmtp
quit
221 2.0.0 closing connection n2si16658369iga.47 - gsmtp
Connection closed by foreign host.
