They can go to their options page, log in and once logged in, they can
unsubscribe immediately without a confirmation. Or, they can send an
email to the listname-request address with an appropriate unsubscribe
command containing their list password, the description of which is

>     unsubscribe [password] [address=<address>]
>         Unsubscribe from the mailing list.  If given, your password must match
>         your current password.  If omitted, a confirmation email will be sent
>         to the unsubscribing address. If you wish to unsubscribe an address
