[MATRIX-SIG] umathmodule and python-1.5

Hi!

Compiling NumPy-1.0b3 for python-1.5 gives the error message: 
ImportError: ./umathmodule.so: undefined symbol: PyUFunc_OO_O
if Setup in Python-Modules is set to shared.

I'm running  gcc-2.8.0 on linux (redhat 5.0, kernel 2.0.33).

How can I get it running for shared modules ?
