[MATRIX-SIG] PyGist

I don't need any hints. I'm working on this. We are going to try to release
all our modules in a separate format, not as part of the source tree as they
are now. My first goal is NumPy 1.0, which I expect to release the first of
next week including a Windows binary.

The original reason we made our stuff a part of the source tree was that
some of our stuff needed modifications to the source tree. They were small
changes, and the need for most of them disappeared with Python 1.5. So it is
now possible to make things into stand-alone packages. I'm sorry I have an
actual job that is getting in the way of all this (:->. Let me thank in
advance Harri Pasanen, David Ascher, Konrad Hinsen, and Guido, who have
spent considerable time on my education, especially with the Windows side.
