[medusa] addition to the thread_handler demo

I've added a second test module, 'pi_module', that will compute a
specified number of digits of pi.

You can use it to test out the thread pool by taking up all the
threads. If you have a request waiting for a thread, it will start
up as soon as one of the others finishes.
