An archive comes with the maillist. Currently the archives are public
or disabled - perhaps public is ok in this case. In any case, the next
item on our agenda for mailman/pipermail is provision for private
archives, which we hope to have going, as time allows, in the next week
or two.

I do not know - i have not played with a news to mail gateway, and i do
not handle the news provisions here, so it might be better to base the
gateway elsewhere.
