Message-ID: <200309181020.47323.fcalafat@ono.com> Hi I've been trying MoinMoin and I've found that in the history page you only can see diffs between an old version and the current one. It would be much more useful for me to have diffs between one version and the next, so you can know what changed in each revision. Because of this I made some changes to the CVS version , adding a new action ("partial diff") in the history page. If anybody finds this useful I could send a patch. When preparing a page for spell check or preview, line 312 outputs an orphan tag. Line 334 outputs an anchor tag without a closing tag (the one on 312?). I think PageEditor should output the config.page_footer1 and config.page_footer2 values after line 340. This would be helpful for people like me who override the config.title2 and config.page_footer1 values to modify the pages internal format. A patch is attached. I've found that the quoteFilename() in MoinMoin/ wikiutil.py is not necesseary, since the Linux FS can safelly use UTF-8 filenames, and browsers (tried with mozilla & konqueror) can use links with UTF-8. The only thing quoteFilename() should probably do is check for the "/" character since that and "\0" are the only special characters in the UNIX FS API. For Windows I guess its different but should be simillar. (so a simple filename.replace('/','_2f') is enough) I'm sending you this just as a help in the effort to make moinmoin completely UTF-8 capable... If I edit a page WikiPage, there is a backup file named WikiPage.1234567890 created when I save the page. If I do a spell check or a preview 10 times before saving the page, there are an additional 10 files named MyName_2fMoinEditorBackup.nnnnnnnnnn (where the nnn are different numbers). In addition to the above 10, there are many other files named MyName_2fMoinEditorBackup.nnnnnnnnnn that are backups for all the other pages I have edited, one for each preview and spell check. I think that in 1.0, there was a single backup page per user in data/pages/MyName/attachments/MoinEditorBackup. This was the last page previewed or spell checked and would be overwritten by any following preview or spell check. Roger Haase __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Just have a look into MoinMoin/macros/*.py for some samples. The macro code in these files is simply called with a string containing the arguments as given in the wiki text. It has then to render the output in html and returm them as a string. If you have to generate graphics files, you might look at that latex processor. That's all.
