Thanks Alexander (and Tomi, too). Since the behaviour persisted after 
terminating and relaunching moin.py, I'd assumed it was independent of 
the issue of the modtime of dirs in the WinMe file system.

Anything else that seems odd, I'll just sit on until the next version 
of MoinMoin.
