as far as I know you should make your images aviable over a webserver
like apache2  [2] (you could even make the mod autoindex [1] available;
so you cold also browse through your image archive)

then it would be possible to make an ImageLink like:
[[ImageLink(http://images/setup.bmp)]] 

well maybe bpm is a bit ugly, better use pgn :-)
