Hello everyone,

I am pleased to announce the venue of a workshop in Utrecht, The
Netherlands, for anyone interested in learning the basics of processing
diffusion MRI using ExploreDTI. This is a great opportunity to learn both
the theory and practical challenges behind diffusion MRI processing.

Attendance is on a first come, first serve basis with a maximum of 20
attendees to ensure a high level of support by each lecturer.

The workshop includes presentation from invited speakers and a hands-on
tutorial with the following topics

   1. Quality assessment
   - Residual maps
      - Estimation methods (OLLS, WLLS, NLS, REKINDLE)
   2. Artifact correction
   - Signal drift
      - Gibbs Ringing
      - Subject motion and eddy current-induced distortions
      - EPI deformations
   3. Diffusion approaches
   - Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI)
      - Diffusion kurtosis imaging (DKI)
      - Spherical deconvolution (SD)
   4. Fiber tractography
   - Virtual dissection
      - Fiber bundle segment
      - Along-track analysis
   5. Automated analyses
   - ROIs (native/atlas space)
      - Tract pathways
      - Connectomics
   6. Visualization
   - ROIs
      - Tract pathways
      - Connectomes
      - Making Animations

While the workshop will focus on ExploreDTI, it is also a perfect occasion
for anyone wishing to learn the basics of processing diffusion datasets and
ask specific questions about diffusion and related topics to any organizers.
