[New-bugs-announce] [issue1756] -m broken in trunk

Guido van Rossum report at bugs.python.org
Mon Jan 7 19:58:02 CET 2008

New submission from Guido van Rossum:

As of today, the -m option doesn't appear to work any more in the trunk.
 I get this error:

$ ./python -m string
Could not import runpy module
$

However it seems to be confused:

$ ./python -c 'import runpy'
$

IOW the module imports just fine.

Crys, I wonder if this has to do with your import-nolock changes?
