[New-bugs-announce] [issue8911] regrtest.main should have a test skipping argument

New submission from Brett Cannon <brett at python.org>:

If you look at importlib.regrtest you will notice it has to muck with sys.argv in order to get certain tests skipped. It would be much better if regrtest.main had an argument you could specify instead which listed the tests to skip.

This might lead to breaking out the command line parsing into the __main__ block at the end of the file instead of having it all in regrtest.main.
