Unfortunately ord() doesn't show complete UNICODE. This can cause incorrectness problems.

>>> ord('—')
>>> ord('¥')

Proof: Type Alt+0151, then type Alt+151. They should give you — and ù respectively.

Please correct the UNICODE numbering.
