[New-bugs-announce] [issue21603] IDLE SaveAs drops the extension in the prompted filename

In IDLE, edit and save a file foo.py.
Then choose File SaveAs.
The dialog box only shows "foo", not "foo.py"
which is irritating when renaming a file or saving a variant of a file.
