The downloaded files instead have these properties:

Python-3.10.0rc1.tar.xz edd2eb2f7f4a932ed59196cbe373e5fb 18680452

The gpg signatures do verify ok however. The md5 and size listed for the macOS installer seem to be correct. I didn't check the Windows installers.
