by the way, it isn't such a big deal any more since the registrars have
opened up - I use http://www.directnic.com, which is only $15/year and has
nice easy admin of the domains - far superior to networksolutions

so I've done this for several open source projects (gnuplot, octave, and
latex2html) - usually when I use but haven't been able to contribute as
much in the way of development as I would have liked
