[Numpy-discussion] average(), again(?)

I think perhaps I've asked this before -- but is there any reason why
the average() function from MA can't be copied (without the mask
stuff) to numarray? Maybe it's too trivial (unlike in the masked
case)...? It just seems like a generally useful function to have...
