We have a full complement of PDFs, CDFs, etc. in scipy.
In [1]: from scipy import stats
In [2]: stats.norm.pdf(1.96, loc=0.0, scale=1.0)
Out[2]: array(0.058440944333451469)
In [3]: stats.norm.cdf(1.96, loc=0.0, scale=1.0)
Out[3]: array(0.97500210485177952)
