[Numpy-discussion] NetCDF module that links against NumPy

I've adapted Konrad Hinsen's Scientific.IO.NetCDF module to work with 
NumPy.

For now it's available at

I would like to put this module in SciPy but don't understand whether or 
not the License is compatible.  It sounds GPL-ish.

Would it be O.K. to place in the SciPy/sandbox?
