[Numpy-discussion] error of install numpy on linux redhat.

Hi, Aron,
I have followed the instructions on the url, after installing python 2.6, I tried to install numpy and got :
[~/numpy/numpy] $ /home/user/myName/.local/bin/python setup.py installTraceback (most recent call last):  File "setup.py", line 22, in <module>    import subprocess  File "/home/user/myName/.local/lib/python2.6/subprocess.py", line 401, in <module>    import selectImportError: No module named select
Any help will be appreciated.
