[omaha] Alternate Meeting Location - Scouting Report

Hello All,

I've scouted both the Scooter's Java Express (120th & Blondo) and the
Milo Bail Student Center (MBSC) @ UNO (60th & Dodge).

Scooter's does have drinks/food and wifi, however it would be
difficult getting more than 4 in their "meeting" room.  So do to it's
size, I'm afraid that it is out of the running.

The Student Union @ UNO does have free wifi, food and drink (from
vending machines) -- I need to talk to John Leed to get approval to
bring a pizza or two in and the guy at the information desk said that
he didn't think it would be a problem, but that I should check with
the business office for the official word.  Unfortunately, I did not
get them called today.

Along with the wifi, there are large areas by the Student Government
(First Floor) and the Computer Lab (First Floor) that have tables,
chairs, couches and outlets.

However, being a university -- there is some red tape I must attend to
before we can go forward.

The Reservations & Event Planning Office is responsible for the
non-academic scheduling of any available campus building and/or
grounds. The Reservations Office is located in the Administrative
Offices, second floor of the Milo Bail Student Center, 554-2383.
