[omaha] posting messages

Sometimes when I post a message, I get a copy of the message sent to me, 
but sometimes I get a blank message with only a horizontal line and the 
Omaha Python signature.  Is this by design, or is everyone getting a 
blank message?

This is what shows up in the blank response:
