[omaha] Blaze and now, Ibis

In my June talk I mentioned Blaze.  Blaze is a pythonic interface to
multiple back ends. http://blaze.pydata.org/en/latest/

Ibis (http://www.ibis-project.org ) has recently come on the scene and
there's some overlap with Blaze.  At first, Ibis seemed to be targeted at
Cloudera's Impala, but support for more back ends has been announced.

Although Blaze has been around for awhile, i don't think it has a lot of
traction yet.  Ibis has Cloudera and Wes McKinney (original author of
pandas) behind it.  Should be interesting to watch these two projects
progress
