This patch simply gives a docstring to the do_help command so by default, running help in a Cmd object displays some default help for the help command.

OK, I know we're after a feature-freeze, but this is simply
adding a doc-string to a function (it could be said to be a bug fix <wink>). I'm going to apply-and-close it later today unless someone objects.

I think this falls under the "expert applying a non-controversial change" clause:  not a feature, not a bug, just something with no real consequence that ought to be done.  Just do it.

Except first please note that the patch is buggy (it fails to close the triple-quoted string it introduces).

Rejected. It's kind of silly to check in a single doc string in a module that doesn't have any doc strings at all. Plus the doc string doesn't really explain the command much better than its name.
