This patch attempts to provide a better error message for

    >>> import socket
    >>> s = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_STREAM)
    >>> s.connect('localhost:234')
    Traceback (most recent call last):
      File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
    TypeError: 2-sequence, 13-sequence
    >>> 

It now goes:

    >>> import socket
    >>> s = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_STREAM)
    >>> s.connect('localhost:234')
    Traceback (most recent call last):
      File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
    TypeError: getsockaddrarg: AF_INET address must be tuple, not string
