Initial Comment:
The following existing 2.2 CVS patches need to be 
picked up by Python 2.1.2 for Mac OS X v. 10.1:

Support for dylib - allow zlib included in OS to be 
used rather than have to compile and install in /
usr/local:

Anthony (you _are_ doing 2.1.2, or am I gravely mistaken?
Assign back to me if I am:-),
these patch suggestions look good to me. If you decide to
apply them let me know when you've done so and I'll see
whether I can build a 2.1.2 on OSX 10.1.

Dan, ignore that note about the missing patches. I thought
there was one that didn't come from the repository, but on
looking again I saw all of them come from the repository, so
no need to upload something.

There's no uploaded file!  You have to check the
checkbox labeled "Check to Upload & Attach File"
when you upload a file.
