Summary: updates from tix-8.1.4 RC3

Initial Comment:
Attached are three diffs with updates from tix-8.1.4
RC3 for the HEAD, 2.2 and 2.1 branches.

According to tix's /Python/README-2.x.txt:

About Tix.py
-----------

As of version 2.1, Tix.py is a part of the standard
Python library. However, the Tix shipped with Python
2.2.{0,1,2} is broken.

You should replace Tix.py in the Lib/lib-tk directory,
and demos in the Demo/tix directory with the files
found here.


I'm leaving out the demo files, since the only
differences are in the RCS header.
