Initial Comment:
Recently released version 0.4.7 of the logging package 
(core of this recently accepted into CVS for 2.3).

Includes unit tests and examples. Main regression test 
harness is log_test.py.

There are some known issues - reported by Neal 
Norwitz. I will upload a patch to handle these.
