Initial Comment:
On OS X, at least, the test for inet_pton fails because sys/types.h is 
not included before socket.h.  The test for setgroups fails because 
there is a typo in the configure script:  #include <unistd.h.h>

Additionally, the failure to detect inet_pton causes compile errors due 
to a conflicting definition of the inet_pton emulation in 
socketmodule.c.
