Summary: FreeBSD 5.3 and upward has thread-safe getaddrinfo(3)
Initial Comment:
The FreeBSD operating system has thread-safe
getaddrinfo(3) since version 5.3. Therefore, serialization
in the socket module is not necessary when Python is
compiled for this system.
