[PSF-Volunteers] PSF-Volunteers Python presenter versions 2 and 3

Hi all
I have done two more version of the s5 presentation tool as a python presenter. I have also redone the back ground on version one. I tried to take into account all the suggestions made so far.
Go to http://www.teratask.com/python_presenter/
There are three directories of interest there. s5_Python_presenter_v1, s5_Python_presenter_v1 and s5_Python_presenter_v1. In each of these this is a zip file, a tar.gz file and a directory that demos the version. s5-Python_blank is just set up files.
It seems at this point some kind of how-to document would be appropriate. I'll start drafting something like that next. I would have gotten this done sooner but work and travel seems to get in the way.
As usual I am open to any input, changes , critiques or even free beer.
All for now,

The best thing for being sad," replied Merlin, beginning to puff and blow, "is to learn something. That's the only thing that never fails. You may grow old and trembling in your anatomies, you may lie awake at night listening to the disorder of your veins, you may miss your only love, you may see the world about you devastated by evil lunatics, or know your honour trampled in the sewers of baser minds. There is only one thing for it then - to learn. Learn why the world wags and what wags it. That is the only thing which the mind can never exhaust, never alienate, never be tortured by, never fear or distrust, and never dream of regretting. Learning is the only thing for you. Look what a lot of things there are to learn."

If you have any trouble sounding condescending, find a Unix user to show you how it's done.

Looks nice! A few thoughts FWIW:

I'd agree that the watermark may be a problem -- perhaps the
solution is to remove it entirely and move the icon + "python"
logo to the top left (instead of "python powered" which doesn't
make as much sense generally)?

Also, instead of having a white background for the logo at the
top, maybe adding a decent sized white border around just the
icon part would be enough to offset the logo from the
same-colored background? I *do* like the top/bottom colors, just
not so much having the big white box around the logo...

Thanks for doing this!

- Stephan
