Peter> I have a question about emails sent to jobs at python.org. It seems
Peter> that they can sometimes take a really long time to be
Peter> delivered. For example, there were two messages that were sent 5
Peter> days ago which were only delivered this evening. This could be my
Peter> mail server (gmail.com) but I tend to suspect that it's more
Peter> likely that they're being held up somewhere else. Can anyone
Peter> enlighten me as to what happens when a message is sent to
    Peter> jobs at python.org?

Mails sent to jobs at python.org are forwarded to pydotorg, which is a
subscriber-only address. Accordinging, almost all jobs mail is thus held
for moderator approval. If the moderators are looking the other way at the
time (there are three of us), then the message can languish.
